The problem (with many Christians): YOU DON'T ANALYSE YOUR BELIEF!!!! As the evangelical Os Guiness once said "Buns of steel but brains of silly putty." ...or the evangelical turned Greek Orthdox Franky Schaeffer (quoting from Bertrand Russell) "Like soup in a bad restauraunt most Christians' brains are best left unstirred." As BOTH of these Christian writers have pointed out, not using your God given brain is a sin.
