Rembrandt was a Christian who also painted himself at the foot of the cross, helping to raise it, thus saying his sin was responsible for Christ’s death (“The Raising of The Cross”). He also painted portraits of Christ and placed Christ at the centre of such paintings emphasising His importance.

Is the Christian artist Rembrandt a pornographer????

Are Christians allowed to portray the sexual act in their art????
