Judges Aren’t Always Right!

At one time judges ruled that “a Black man has no rights that a White man need respect”. *****************************************************************************************

“segregation … is and always has been the unvarying law of the animal kingdom. The dove and the quail, the turkey and the turkey buzzard, the chicken and the guinea, it matters not where they are found, are segregated; place the horse, the cow, the sheep, the goat, and the pig in the same pasture and they instinctively segregate … when God created man, he allotted each race his own continent according to color, Europe to the white man, Asia to the yellow man, Africa to the black man, and America to the red man, but we are now advised that God’s plan was in error and must be reversed.” (A Florida judge in 1955.)

“. . . we might have living in Tennessee the father living with daughter, the son with the mother, the brother with his sister, in lawful wedlock, because they had formed such relations in a state in a state or country where they were not prohibited. The Turk or the Mohammedan, with his numerous wives, may establish his harem at the doors of the capital, and we are without remedy. Yet none of these are more revolting, more to be avoided, or more unnatural than the case before us.” (A Tennessee judge in 1872, ruling against a racially mixed couple who had moved to the state.)

“Almighty God created the races white, black, yellow, malay and red, and he placed them on separate continents. And but for the interference with his arrangement there would be no cause for such marriages. The fact that he separated the races shows that he did not intend for the races to mix.” Part of the pleading in Loving v Virginia
