Further to http://jmm.aaa.net.au/articles/14053.htm There's apparently an old movie with a scene like this... One netfriend wrote: Thanks for jogging our memories about that old movie, Steve. It prompted me to log on to studio records, which reveal a scene that was replaced with what hit the screens. In that scene Frankie Howerd's stunt double had suffered an adnurse reaction and died, because instead of a carnation they used a rose, which they removed. (no anal retention here, but maybe a thorn in the flesh.) But his death meant that the production team faced a dilemma for, despite having removed a rose from the dead, they could not resur rectum. Had that first scene stayed in, the movie may have been released as "Carrion Regardless."
