in relation to legal fees, it is amazing to me that no-one ever dares to question the absurdly high costs of legal procedures. I realise that lawyers never leave school because governments (more nests of lawyers!) are always sending out more homework on a daily basis. But if these fees are set (and unlikely to be challenged) by the legal fraternity itself, could it be that injustice has been built into the whole structure?
It also recalls Frank Packer’s response after his protest was denied by the New York Yacht Club during an America’s Cup challenge: that he felt like he was complaining about his wife to his mother-in-law!
If someone feels that I’m pointing the finger. Please don’t rush for a subpoena application, I’m only asking a few questions.
