On Being Agnostic

I’m agnostic about a lot of things

John Stott, the world’s leading Evangelical, often uses the general phrase ‘I’m agnostic about…’ (the authorship of Hebrews or whatever)

An agnostic is simply someone who admits they don’t know everything, and that when godly scholars differ, they don’t have to pretend to be omniscient…

As for prophecy, word of knowledge etc. whilst I accept they are valid spiritual gifts for today, I’m counseling people every week who are victims of spiritual abuse, often mediated through these ‘gifts’…
