now, we might be obliged to respect someone’s right to hold an opinion, and to express an opinion
but that doesn’t we won’t be offended by something that is offensive and then say so
or think that opinion is stupid or damnable, and say so
i can imagine that some people would find offensive the way some others are misusing the concept of respect for one democratic right in order to impinge the expression of another democratic right … just maybe
