Church matters in Google Books
In the last few days http://books.google.com has released a torrent of material.
Go there, enter “church” or “Christian” and click on the tab and you’ll see some interesting overviews.
BUT, if you click on “Full view books” first then you’ll get those that you can download freely (as a PDF.)
Of course, you can also refine your search as much as you like.
It appears that the full texts have been ‘recognised’ (as in OCR) so that you get exactly what you’re after.
Go for it.
