From a pastor-friend:
Introducing God
Hi All
Just wondering if any of you have been using the “Introducing God” series and if so, what are your thoughts?

I haven’t used it but am impressed with their website (except for the misspellings on it!) – http://www.introducinggod.org/comparison.php
It has a slightly different starting-point to Alpha, assuming people aren’t necessarily consciously ‘spiritual’ and doesn’t emphasize the meal together as Alpha does. If I read between the lines, it’s also birthed in Sydney-style evangelicalism (with its emphasis, for example on sin and atonement as the main or only understandings of the Cross), rather than the Holy Trinity Brompton charismatic flavour…
I’d probably suggest starting with IG, include the eating-together dimension (we are persons-in-community, not just heads with questions) then follow with an Alpha course, then maybe something theologically broader…
Shalom! Rowland Croucher

I’ve been notified that the more up-to-date version (with spellings corrected!) is to be found at
