From a netfriend:
‘It ain’t what you don’t know that gets you into trouble. It’s what you know for sure that just ain’t so’ (Mark Twain)
It ain’t what we don’t know that gives us trouble, it’s what we know that ain’t so. — Will Rogers

I believe Will Rogers is responsible for the quote.
” If the man doesn’t believe as we do, we say he is a crank, and that settles it. I mean, it does nowadays, because now we can’t burn him.” – Mark Twain
As for God, well He exists for those who see Him; and for some who don’t see Him. He probably will never exist for those who don’t bother to look, or who think they already know He doesn’t exist.
Contrary to what many others believe, I think God is OK with people not believing in Him. He doesn’t do what He does, for an audience. It’s just what He does…
“There is something fascinating about science. One gets such wholesale returns of conjecture out of such a trifling investment of fact.” (Mark Twain)
