Those Unresponsive Shutdowns

Sometimes when shutting down, programs can become unresponsive. This can cause a long long delays or even freeze ups during shutdown. This will help with that if these problems are familiar to you. Here’s the steps.

Click START>RUN and type in REGEDIT.

Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER>CONTROL PANEL>DESKTOP

On the right panel you will see an entry labeled AutoEndTask.

Double click on that change the default value from 0 to 1.

Click OK and you’re done.

If you want to change it back just repeat the steps but change the 1 back to 0.
