Step One: Accept the divine, absolute, and literal truth of the Bible.

Step Two: Redefine “literal” when needed.

Step Three: Learn to believe two or more contradictory ideas simultaneously

Heinlein said it so well:

“Anyone who can worship a trinity and insist that his religion is a monotheism can believe anything… just give him time to rationalize it.”
