Bobur, one of the Christians in Uzbekistan who were arrested on 3 April, was released after six days' imprisonment on 9 April (all the others were released on the day of the arrest). All criminal charges against Bobur have been dropped. The only charges against him now are administrative charges for holding religious meetings without official registration. If there is a court hearing within the next month, Bobur still faces the possibility of 15 days detention or a large fine. Please Pray 1. Thank you for your prayers. Praise the Lord that Bobur has been released and all criminal charges against him have been dropped. Pray that the administrative charges will be dropped as well. 2. Please also continue to pray for Christians in Uzbekistan who still face increasing persecution and harassment from authorities. *Links:* Daily Prayer Point <http://www.barnabasfund.org/news/news_03.php> New book from Patrick Sookhdeo <http://www.barnabasfund.org/resources/resources_02.php> Prayer Focus Update <http://www.barnabasfund.org/support/pfu.php> Contact Barnabas Fund <http://www.barnabasfund.org/about/about_01.php> Barnabas Aid Online <http://www.barnabasfund.org/news/news_01.php> Save Iraqi Christians More info <http://www.barnabasfund.org/projects/projects_01.php> <http://www.barnabasfund.org/projects/projects_01.php> *BARNABAS FUND EMAIL NEWS SERVICE* Barnabas Fund's email news service provides the media and our supporters with urgent news briefs concerning suffering Christians around the world.
