Noted somewhere in a long Usenet thread:

I'm picturing Jesus, looking down at this poster and thinking "Oh for Christ sake, another nut wants me to wipe out a whole bunch of people just to prove his theory".

But, I heard Jesus was a good guy. He was the first peacenic/hippie, with his long hair and beard and saying "Peace be unto you" every place he went. Well, he did throw one hissy fit when he found out the temple had been converted into a shopping mall.

Mostly he smiled a lot and told people to mellow out and stop throwing stones. He generally would hang out with his buds and get all philosophical, especially after a few shots of wine. He didn't discriminate against hookers or tax collectors. He saw some good in everybody.

His message was so clear. Mellow out. I'm not even Christian and I get it. It's so much healthier than killing and ever so much better economically.
