‘The world can’t find $18 billion to meet its obligations to the poor in a budget of just over $100 billion spent on aid around the world, yet the US government can consider $750 billion to bail out the rich!
It was Andrew Young who said “Nothing is illegal if one hundred businessmen decide to do it”. Perhaps we might change that to “Nothing is immoral….”‘
