My friend Eddy is sport mad. His wife is always complaining. Eddy said, “The other day she was moaning on about how I had spent the whole summer in front of the TV watching sport. There was the European Championship, Wimbledon, Cricket, the Olympics etc, etc. I thought well perhaps she’s got a point, so I decided to spoil her and take her out for the evening. I booked a table and off we went, but do you know within half an hour she was complaining again – thirty minutes and she hadn’t potted a single red!”
