Leadership & Practical Theology

A Wise note from someone about worship

I've quite recently discovered that for some (many?) people worship means musical entertainment.

To me liturgy means "the work of the people", something offered to God by a community, by which the people become something together that they were not individually -- the whole being greater than the sum of the parts. So liturgy is holistic worship rather than private devotion (which may also be worship).
