I’ve quite recently discovered that for some (many?) people worship means musical entertainment.
To me liturgy means “the work of the people”, something offered to God by a community, by which the people become something together that they were not individually — the whole being greater than the sum of the parts. So liturgy is holistic worship rather than private devotion (which may also be worship).
