I've been desperately short of stuff to do recently, hence the fact that I've been sitting down the library reading all the comic books (rather than actually go out and find some work!).

Having exhausted Wonder Woman (not literally, unfortunately) I turned to "The Flash". Now, here is a guy who can move at the speed of light so nobody can actually SEE him. Why does he need to wear a mask, then?

And J'onn J'onzz, the Martian Manhunter, can alter his appearance at will so why is his skin always green?

And Black Canary. Now, this woman can immobilize men with a single piercing shriek (a bit like my wife when I come back from the pub late). Can anybody tell me what is added to this super-heroine persona by wearing a costume consisting of knee high leather boots, fishnet stockings and a basque?
