I like Joyce Meyer’s advice: If you’re drowning in problems, get your mind off yourself and go find someone else you can help. You not only bring comfort to that person, but bring a blessing and inner healing to yourself. Not a quick fix by any means, but if developed over time as a lifestyle, it can make a difference. We were never designed to be the central focus of our own lives.”
