Maybe
What did you expect to feel. Why?
The classical response: I obey in order to understand; then feelings (depending on the nature of your affective makeup) will follow…
So, in practical terms, pray for strength to obey the gospel (read Mark, then Luke and John, and through the NT) and ask for guidance/strength to follow Christ as well as you can. Do it for 30 days and see what happens…
(And don’t believe all the empty hype from ‘It’ll all happen to you now’ preachers whose preachings are mainly comprised of pink theological fluff)…
You’re in my prayers!
