I'm sometimes asked for a Curriculum Vitae for speaking/teaching engagements. Here's a bare-bones version of it:

Full name : Rev. Dr. Rowland C. Croucher BA, BD, MEd, LTh, DipRE, DMin.

1. BIODATA: Born 5 December, 1937, Sydney, N.S.W.
Parents Reg (deceased) and Sadie Croucher ('Open Brethren')
Married Janice Ruth Higgs on 9/1/1960. She has just resigned from the position of associate pastor for children and families, Syndal Baptist Church, Melbourne; has BA, BTheol, LTh, DipRE.

Children:
* Paul (Ph. D cand. intermitting Monash University): full-time father/househusband, poet, intellectual and married to Lai Kiong BA; they have two sons, Jay (8) and Will (4)
* Karen: BA, medical writer; married to Ross McPhie BEd, a teacher; two daughters Abbie (18) and Coralie (16)
* Amanda BA, DipEd, teaches English as a second language; married to John Southwell BSc, a geotechnical engineer and part-time surfer. Both live downstairs at our place.
* Melinda BA, currently masters' student in theology, Bible College of Victoria, and Dip. Ed. student at Monash University; piano teacher, therapeutic masseur, has had for the last five years a ministry to women in Victoria's prisons; still living at home

Hobbies: Enjoying leisure activities with my wife Jan; family/grandchildren, fine music, reading, writing, most sports, chess, checkers

Main aims in life: Helping people, leaders and churches to reach their spiritual/emotional/relational potentials; exposing the evils of institutional injustices; avoiding moving physical objects across the face of the earth :-)

Teaching : Five years in N.S.W. State high schools 1959-1963 (English, Social Studies), NSW Baptist Theological College 1967-1968 (English, New Testament Greek), Sydney Missionary and Bible College 1966-1968 (Communication theory, NT), visiting lecturer in many theological/Bible colleges

Staff-worker Intervarsity Fellowship (now Australian Fellowship for Evangelical Students), working with Christian student groups in Australian and PNG universities and colleges, 1968-1970

News-writer/broadcaster for Christian Broadcasting Association, Sydney, (1971-1972)

Senior Pastor , Narwee Baptist Church, Sydney (1964-1967) with two other staff; Blackburn Baptist Church, Victoria (1973-1981), with 25 salaried staff, seven pastors. Plus associate and interim ministries from two weeks to 18 months in other Baptist churches: Ashfield, Ettalong, Sydney Central, Gymea, Narwee (NSW), First Baptist Church Vancouver B.C.

Ten years of GRID articles are published in a book - 'THE BEST OF GRID').
