We have high standards of health and safety in our business.

No accidents to anyone – ever!

We talk about it, and keep issues before us.

Unsafe Acts Prevention. UAP is the word.

Drive safe, lift safe, work safe, be safe,

And look after your colleagues.

It seems to work, too.

The accident rate is down. We celebrate that,

And it’s good to take it home.

Would my workshop really pass a safety audit?

What about my total life, Lord?

Some of my activities rate as unsafe acts,

Or unsafe thoughts!

You know them, you reminded me

a.. even this morning! This time with you just now is powerful UAP.

The days I miss out on pausing with you in prayer

Are the days I goof or lose my cool.

Even praying briefly on the freeway helps,

I don’t have to close my eyes,

Just to touch base with you, to sense your presence,

And seek your guidance.

Help me to maintain high standards of health and safety

across my body, mind, and soul.
