Well that’s a relief, Lord.

We passed the environmental audit again.

Gas emissions held down, and no containment leaks.

Perhaps lucky; more likely sound plant management.

I should pass on a word of appreciation

Because it impacts on the breadth of our business.

Care for the environment basically seems straight forward,

Although I sense some hidden agendas sometimes.

There are some political drivers,

And people with potential commercial gain,

But most folk seem sincere.

Usually the problem is that individuals get

a fixation on one variable

When the real problem is multifactorial.

I need to try and understand the real need.

How do I get it right, Lord?

“My son, be honest, [1] open, preventive and proactive.

Most people will only react to a problem.

You must lead by example,

Remember the lesson from my word.

Cast your bread upon the waters

And it will come back to you.” [2]
