Dollars in, dollars out.

Credit, debit, interest, tax,

Dividend, profit and loss, cash flow.

Some people love these numbers!

I’m thankful for their contribution,

But it’s not me.

Lord, you have infinite resources.

Figuratively, your streets are paved with gold, [1]

And I have a glorious inheritance with you. [2]

There’s no balance sheet.

The debts have been wiped out. [3]

Just now Lord, I need to be your steward.

I must not waste the resources you shower towards me.

Time, skills, creativity, prayer support,

Given in love.

Help us, Lord, help me,

As we deploy these wisely.

The greatest riches are your word and your Spirit,

And their promise of membership in your family. [4]

Thank you Lord, for letting me be part of this

As you speak and work through me.
