We had a cake today, with drinks all round.

It is good to celebrate together,

And to acknowledge the contributions of many

to a team achievement.

Today it was a product success -

a multi-million dollar mile stone.

Last week it was an engagement,

Another time, a new starter.

Celebrating is part of our culture,

It makes us a preferred business to be in.

Celebration is part of your culture too, Lord.

Not just the corporate musical worship on a Sunday,

But the quiet, confident, celebration of life by individuals.

Thank you for letting me be part of that Lord,

For giving me life - abundantly,

For walking with me, by quiet waters and through dark valleys. [1]

Celebration implies spending to make the joy visible.

So I give my life back to you, Lord,

As my thank offering. [2]
