It’s tax time.

Income tax, corporate tax, sales tax, FBT, GST, etc.

And the more subtle points,

Concessions, rebates, credits, minimisation.

And the rorts – evasion, etc.

Money – going out!

The price to be paid for being part of society.

Lord, this is an area where a businessman can be tempted.

Help me to be scrupulously honest,

To give to Government,

the things that belong to Government,

and to God what is God’s. [1]
