I would like to respond to one of your articles (please just hear me out): Joanne Kathleen Rowling (the author of the Harry Potter Series) is a Christian herself. The Pope (And I~m Roman Catholic so that~s all the approval I need) himself approved the Harry Potter Series Harry does the good spells, the spells you were referring to (such as the cruciactus curse) are the bad spells. They celebrate Christmas in the Harry Potter Series, It and EASTER, are the only holidays that they can go home in Their are plenty of fictional stories (Lord of the rings, The Wizard of Oz) that have magical characters in them that are harmless and fun to read. JK herself says never once has she ever come across any one who has said "I read the HP series, now I wanna be a witch/ wizard." Ever. Inoticed in a response to an article about the murders of Christians in Indonesia someone was again blamin the Christian victims. There is a claim that the Christians were "separatists" frankly I like to live separate from the people who are trying to kill me or my loved ones too. Pres. Bush does~t need to "repent" God gives the authorities the power of the rod of discipline for a reason. There is also a reason why Jesus didn~t tell soldier to quit his job when the soldier asked what he should do. Those who think being a good Christian requires one to allow them and their families to be killed are WRONG. God is also the God of justice as well as mercy and peace.

There are large number of orphan and street children in all our congregations, those who lost their parents and those who are neglected. Native Missionaries Rush to Rescue Survivors of Killer Tidal Wave CHURCH OF THE LIVING GOD MINISTRIES Is Receiving Contributions to Help Them Within hours of a devastating undersea earthquake that struck near Indonesia December 26, indigenous missionary teams were delivering loads of emergency relief to tidal wave victims in coastal areas of seven countries. "They didn~t wait for foreign assistance," said Dr. Joseph N Raju , "but mobilized their meager resources immediately to aid the homeless victims - and now they need our help to carry on and finish the job of giving aid in the name of Christ." Traveling at speeds of up to 600 miles an hour in open seas, the wall of water reached as high as 50-feet as it surged ashore to swamp the lower coastal areas of India, Indonesia, Sri Lanka and Thailand. Deaths were also reported in many other places, including the Andaman Islands, Bangladesh, Burma, and Malaysia. According to our sea shore pastor John Mark says , at least 10 indigenous missionary ministries are expected to be involved. "The efforts will go on for months," he said, "because it will take that long to replace tens of thousands of homes and hundreds of churches that have been destroyed." Chur of the living God ministires staff are also assessing the damage in Andhra pradesh and Tamil nadu where many of the 3 ministries supported by Church of the living God ministries there are already sending volunteers and aid to the most affected areas. Within 24 hours of the quake, the death toll had already reached 23,000. Long term, the death toll may reach over 100,000 because many bodies will never be found and public health consequences are yet to appear. "Native missionaries need immediate help to purchase blankets, tents, bottled water, food and medicine," says Dr. Joseph raju "But that is only the start. Long term there will be a need to restore sanitation, dig new wells to replace those contaminated, and find homes for the orphans and widows that survive. In addition hundreds of churches and missionary homes will have to be replaced in coastal areas where all buildings were completely destroyed." At the outset, I want to introduce to you of myself that I am GANTA JOHN BENTON and am a minister of the Gospel and presenting the Good News to the dying souls through the JESUS SAVES MINISTRIES and also the Director of JESUS SAVES ORPHANAGE, located in Tanuku town a place in West Godavari District of Andhra Pradesh, State of India. Please permit me to put forth the background information of the JESUS SAVES ORPHANAGE. As India is a poor country, being a servant of God, I am suffering with financial constraints to maintain the co-workers of the JESUS SAVES MINISTRIES consisting of 10 poor servants of God as well as JESUS SAVES ORPHANGE with 28 needy children. I am running the orphanage for the welfare and benefit of the parentless and helpless suffering little children besides our aim of the work of God. Kindly let me submit my submission relating to the orphanage. I and my co-workers attending Gospel services in the remote parts and adjoining villages to get the perishing souls saved. During the course of our Evangelical efforts, it so happened that I was approached for a charity by a small young boy of below 10 years of age with torn clothes and weak structure having baby laying on his shoulders. He seems to be very pitiable and came for begging arms. This scene has touched my brotherly feelings and curiously enquired about his circumstances to become as a beggar. Then I was explained as - his father left his family due to poverty stricken condition in a drunken stage, leaving his mother when she was pregnant. His mother occupied Lord’s call after giving birth to a baby. As there are no one in the family to look the burden of maintenance of the baby also fell on his shoulders. The pathetical story sympathetically moved my heart and began thinking. Suddenly in thoughts, it flashed the quotation: “HE THAT HATH PITY UPON THE POOR LENDETH UNTO THE LORD AND THAT WHICH HE HATH GIVEN WILL HE PAY HIM AGAIN” PROVERBS 19:17. Accordingly, I began praying for running an orphanage. With the able guidance of generous mind and valuable prayers of faithful elders, I could able to start the “JESUS SAVES ORPHANAGE” for the homeless and refused children with objects of causing shelter, food, clothes, medical aid and education. This is very adventurous one to me as I am poor financially, yet with the prayerful donations and contributions collected from the charitable gentry, I was able to maintain this orphanage. Yet I am facing troubles and hurdles in getting the daily bread and minimum needs for the children of our orphanage. Our orphanage is having a strength of 28 orphan boards of all ages in either sex. Hence, I humbly request your generosity to kindly remember the suffering little children those who are struggling a lot and suffering like anything for their daily needs in your kind and compassionate heart. “HE THAT HATH A BOUNTIFUL EYE SHALL BE BLESSED FOR HE GIVETH OF HIS BREAD TO THE POOR” PROVERBS 22:9. It is not out of place for me to mention that as and when you have a chance to visit India, please make it convenient to visit our orphanage and witness its activities. Please pray for the deprived and desolated orphan children and bless them abundantly in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ through your gifted hands.
